BAROSSA IN BOARD SHORTS: THE MOST FUN YOU'VE HAD DRINKING WINE WHILST WEARING BOARDIES SINCE THAT TIME YOU PLAYED GOON OF FORTUNE AT ROBBO'S HOUSE PARTY IN GRADE 11
There are 2 types of people in this world:
- People who have thought "I'd love to go to a wine tasting and learn more about wine but I don't want to look like a pretentious prat." and;
- Liars
Gone are the days of the hoity-toity wine tastings with Duke Francis of Normandy quipping "this is clearly a Piero della Francesca" or whatever.
In all honesty, I've never really been to a wine tasting before as I'm terrified of the thought of being drunk around the Duke and/or my family and making a twit of myself... again.
Never fear however, as here comes Barossa In Boardshorts to save the day!
Barossa In Boardshorts is a 4 day wine-tasting event, showcasing some of the Barrosa's best wines, such as Poonawatta, Brothers At War, Lonely Vineyard and so many more.
Each day has a 3 hour unlimited wine-tasting session, with beats and food the order of the day. Oh yeah, and we forgot to mention you'll be getting stuck in at some of Queensland's best venues.
Starting on Thursday July 26th you'll be at The Island Rooftop at Broadbeach on the Gold Coast.
Then, Friday sees you head west to Toowoomba to soak it in at Blank Space by The Spotted Cow. We assure you, if anyone knows how to rip lid and have a good time, it's the crew out west.
Saturday then has you ripping in at Baedeker Wine-Bar in Brisbane, a joint that gives you a sick New York vibe in the middle of Brissy.
From there, things get coastal again on the Sunday as Maroochy Surf Club gets around the Barossa In Board Shorts vibe... If you're not keen to sip dope wine at the beach, then what are you doing even reading this?
Tickets are limited so get your Party Tuxedo sorted and let's do this!
